Uhh why?
Because it's a popular thread. Like the Crazy pic thread.

IMO - there's no point. Why take up the extra space as a sticky when there's bouts of time that no one posts in that thread . . .
Needn't worry, even when the thread gets a few pages back, someone always comes along and resurrects it.

I voted that it should be.
Only that it deserves to be taken with a pinch of salt.
IE being put in general nonsense.
Because what is the greatest system is very subjective:
1) It depends on budget - one person's 'best' available system might be very much different from another guy.
2) 2nd reason is fanboy-ism.... We all know how some of us prefer ATI / AMD over INTEL / NVIDIA... Who are we all to judge?
3) In quite substantial cases low-end/mid-range pc hardware can be gotten to have better performance results than stuff which costs trice as much and left at stock...
And what should we as members of this forum be giving 'higher points' to...... the rich guy who can get the latest hardware? Or the guy who takes a challenge to make mid-range stuff achieve the same performance as the high-end package?
It's all subjective. That's why IMHO it should be stickied because people could be posting interesting stuff, but what importance it should be given depends not on the objective view of the reader at all.
