Which way should this heatsink sit?

I'm curious if it would sit so that the fan faces the bottom of the case of the front of the case; I've seen them both ways, so I'm a little confused. :confused:

The fan is on the front side of the cooler with the air blowing towards the rear exhaust fan.

That entirely depends on how your airflow in your case is set up. However, if you're not sure, the best way is as erocker said :)

i mounted my zalman flower to blow down on the back of my hot 1900xtx grafix card.. but the traditional way is blow from front to back.. assuming case air goes in the front and out the back..
