3870X2 with my motherboard?

Hey everyone,

I'm possibly getting myself a 3870X2, I need to know if I can use it with my P5K Deluxe? I've got all sata ports full and my 2900 looks really close to touching them, I don't know if a 3870X2 will block them off. Does anyone with a 3870X2 have any ideas? If I can't get an X2 I'll most probably be getting 2 3850 512MBs. It's £235 for an X2 vs £220 for 2 3850s. Decisions decisions :confused: :rolleyes: :D

It will fit and the cables will just bend to compensate with the length.

Thanks :), I'm just a bit wary of breaking the ports, my 2900 is exactly in line with them, looks like if it was a bit longer it would obstruct. It's just difficult to skip a 3870X2 for £235 :eek: :cool:

If you are refering to the Gecube ones on ebuyer grab one now before stock runs out!!! think about getting it to fit later lol for £235 its well worth it.

*Dies* I'm 18, been "playing" for about 2 years, getting along on trying to teach my self lol, i seem to be going down hill from a few months ago though :rolleyes: :p

Well start by learning blues m8 i think its the route to all music you can basically play rock from blues by speeding it up as gary moore did one of my favorate guitarists its takes years m8 to play good and you never stop learning theres so many different styles you'll need more than your life time to learn them all.
