So yea title says it all i'm thinking on buying this card and prob wait it out another year till i go PCI-E. It says it needs a 450W or higher PSU and the computer I have is sporting a 460W PSU. My question is will this card work fine with my computer or no ? BTW how much better would this card be over my x800gto 256mb ? I know AGP is old tech but hey I still enjoy playing today's games at good resolutions without a hitch except for titles such as bioshock, lost planet and a few others and want to get just one more upgrade to last me at least another year. Thanks for any feedback on this !

Well idk your cpu but the 3850 agp will blow the x800 away as it has unified shaders and double the memory. It will run every game on high in 12x10 res with 55+ fps (except Crysis) and assuming you arent cpu bottlenecked. If your 460w psu has at least 28A on the 12V line(s) and good efficiency you should be fine.

Aye, it all depends on your processor. I'm really thinking about buying one of these as a present for my brother -- he's got an old XP 3200+ Barton that he won't give up on (for good reason -- that chip is still fast for its age).

yea i have a good cpu also along with lots of ram and other goodies and it's pointless for people like us to shell out $5-800 dollars for a new system ...might as well just spend $200 and enjoy our computers at least another year :)
