psu load test

I'd like to look into what needs to be done to load test psu's. Just checking the no load out put isn't any problem. A jumper wire and my Fluke 77 will give those results. But what about checking the voltage levels and amp out put under stress. I'm not finding anything being marketed for load testing. Does any one know of where they can be found? Or how one can be made? Or if a quality vom is all that is needed? Any ideas will be helpfull.

But how about something that can be done on a non industrial budget?
Could I for instance put a Y adapter (if there is such a thing) on the 20+4, play Oblivion, and take voltage readings off the loose ended socket? Or would this be a bad idia?
The main focus is to be on the 3.3v and 5v out puts on psu.

You could just fire up ATItool with the spinning orb and run Orthos at the same time. That is even better than orthos + 3dmark 06 in terms of watts used.

personally i use OCCT and ATI tool at the same time. Only benefit over orthos, is that OCCT supports quad cores :)

Since i *have* a power meter, i can verify it maxes out the power ussage and is quite stable for power draw (if it varied a lot, you'd assume it wasnt loading something all the time.)
