Doesn't that cooler look sweet? I myself am a BIG YELLOW FAN!!! I don't know where you would buy one of these on the net yet.

Is that G92 GTS? Shouldn't it have 128 SP's? I remember seeing a G80 GTS from MSI that came with 112 SP's but G80 cannot have 1024M memory, it can have 320M, 640M and 1280M

Nice cooler, it looks like those 7900 GTX coolers i nterms of airflow but for the plate. I'm sure this will make an awsome SLI pair in two.

Or 768. ;) Seeing as how they just added 128 to the 640 to get 768, I wouldn't see how they couldn't have 1024 (640+128+128+128) -- or am I missing something?

Indeed. The G80-GTS has a 320bit memory bus and hence has 10x 32bit bus-width memory banks. Each memory bank (chip) can be of 32MB (32 x 10 = 320MB) ; or 64MB (64 x 10 = 640M) or 128MB (theoritically 128 x 10 = 1280).

How will you get 1024 MB? 1024 / 10 = 102.4 . You don't have 102.4MB memory chips.

To put it in short: total memory bus width / bus width of memory chip = number of memory chips in all.

320 / 32 = 10

10 x 32MB = 320MB ; 10 x 64MB = 640MB ; 10 x 128MB = 1280MB.

In G92, 256 /32 = 8.

8 x 32MB = 256MB ; 8 x 64MB = 512MB ; 8 x 128MB = 1024MB.

You can pretty much derive how G80-GTX gets its 768MB (and how 1.5 GB is possible) ;)

I like the looks of it! I cant wait to see some real world tests!
