For some reason the middle picture of the yellow Palit card reminds me of a cheap plastic transistor radio for a child from the 1980's. It's the Tonka truck of video cards. It would look nice in a DFI board.

I like the look of the Palit, MSI and Gainward Golden Sample.....just for their cooling solutions.

If I were you I would buy the cheapest card that has 1.0ns samsung memory modules and overclock the hell out of it. That's just me being cost conscious

Palit

How much did they pay you to say that?
IMO go with the Vikoo. All cards are essentially the same, they are all manufacuted by Nvidia, they the sub-vendors get them and do stuff to em, like give them a different cooler than reference (this one looks really good), flash the BIOS to higher clocks, etc...

Of course you will be overclocking it yourself, but the cooler will come in handy.

Not the Palit cards, they make their own cards:).

Of course you will be overclocking it yourself, but the cooler will come in handy.

And some vendors also put extra power phases on the PCB over the reference design which aid overclocking, it's those little things that help me decide which to buy.

+1 for the power stage on some O/C cards : better for high frequencies ( with water cooling solution :D ).

The first Palit pic' shows the standard version withe the O/C box  ... sorry for my error :o

Wait effective releases and tests of all ones and the better choice will be 1.0ns chips with power stage and better heatsink solution ( zalman VF1000 and look like ones ) with rear exhaust.

IMO, this card will be the future best seller of the chameleon brand ;)

@today my choice is : Wikoo O/C version for his copper heatsink and dual HDMI with optical Toslink bridge for HTPC ( HT addict ;) ).

the chick with the cherry blossom on the Asus is kinda lame imo. What kinda guy wants to put that sissy looking card in his wicked rig lol. I think I'ma buy a palit too, reviews show that their aftermarket cooler works way better than reference ones. And ya the extra phase of power is definitely handy.

Actually guys I think the EU gets shafted when it comes to Palit's offerings (though I'm not sure if any of you here are in the EU, 'cept me). I've looked at 2 UK vendors so far and they offer the Sonic edition with the smaller cooler as shown in the OP. The beastly cooler must be US only :(
