HD 3870 or 9600gt?

keep it! 9600gt will offer you very little with such a card, maybe that is a downgrade? just wait for the next line of ati rv740 which will replace 3850/3870

If you've already spent the money on a 3870, I don't think there's a reason to buy a 9600GT. If you hadn't already bought it, it would depend on which games you play most.

They are roughly about equal. You alerady sunk in money into that 3870 and it's still an awesome card. You don't have to have the latest and greatest...esp since the 9600 isnt the greatest. Techinically. Thats the 3870 X2/8800gtx/gts.

thats pretty impressive then! I wasnt expecting that out of the lower end 600 parts, and for 180 its not a bad card!
