Hello there,

i know i know ... it's very old card but i need it to my project of simple budget HTPC.
I had many spare parts and one day i got idea to put them together.

Part which is now on the topic is Radeon All in wonder 9000 pro 64Mb (TV tuner, vivo)

I have installed everything without any problems(hadware, drivers etc). After it, time has come for test of TV but something went wrong...

From Video out cables sound mini jack to the sound on board sound card, TV cable to the video card, monitor to the video card... etc ... but when i open the TV programme there is no sound only strange voice like from radio when cell phone is near but more creeapy... after a while it gets stronger and faster....

My system Spec...

2x512MB good ram ddr
athlon barton 2500+
Ati all in wonder 9000 pro
mo bo - mini ATX gigbyte from fujitsu siemens workstations.

I don;t know but ... it is possible that something is interfering?
also there is one thing which can have big influence but im don't know if it's possible.

Whole system is Over clocked a bit - only by changing FSB to 200MHz, PCI and AGP clock is also above the stock but i don't remember ... about 5Mhz up... card was tested for artifacts and alo OCed but only bit- there are also big radiators on RAM and GPU glued with zalman adhesive theral glue.

Any sugestions? HELP me pleas - I don't want to buy any other card this baby was fantastic for ages !! and after 3 years of not using it smth went wrong... :banghead:

Best Regards

Is it possible that in the Multimedia Software Setup, the channels are not scanning properly? Has it scanned anything at all? Is it set to scan radio versus television?

I would look in the Multimedia Control Center Setup and check the settings, as a first step.

Good luck,

dh

Also, check your Control Panel > Sound Settings and make sure that your sound card is set as the default device. Multiple input/output devices can be tricky. I freaked when I first properly installed my old 3870, because it supports HDMI Audio Out. After I installed the drivers for that so I could have a clean Device Manager, it defaulted the audio device in my system to the HDMI Audio, and I had to reenable my X-Fi card.

I will check thah but normally when i play music sund card works fine :/

Oh now i see the problem ... ATI mmc.EXe problem has ocured :/

found 9,16 - ati mmc and will find what is going on with it :)
also there was problem with wave - when i muted the wave output on my sound drivers there is no interfering like GSM interfers on radio but i want wave sounds :/
