bought x800gto back in 2006, back then saw a lot of threads about memory failing on the cards so it expected this one to fail but i underclocked the memory to 350 (700 DDR).

Everything seem perfect, was only using the computer for a couple hours a week. turned on and aritifacts at boot.

Tried 12pipelines,8pipelines... nothing helped. GPU-Z is showing the memory as SDR not DDR.
Does anyone Have a method for saving this card or HOW TO DISABLE MEMORY IN THE X800 BIOS?

Think a going to order the 6800LE cheap and maybe another 16pipeline mod.
