Can't OC Q6600 on ASUS Striker II Formula

I have tried everything on auto and manual settings and I can't even raise the FSB by 1MHZ it just won't overclock.Tried every voltage combination,tried lowering the multiplier...nothing,but it runs fine on stock speeds.I can get it to 3.6-3.8GHz on my ABIT IX38 QUAD GT so I know my cpu is not the problem.So is my board a dud or am my missing something??

did you try disabling speed step etc?

same problem as my 780i's had. RMA it or send it back or sell it.

i would RMA...thats better than pawning it off on some sucker...thats just low...

well, it probably works fine with dual cores.

The board works fine except for the overclocking thing so I might have a hard time to RMA it...Maybe I'm going to buy a E8400 to see what happens.
