seems like with Xigmatek memory cooler it will drop about 10degree when comapare it to not using any spreader.
does anyone know what will it be when against oem heat spreader?

Man that thing is huge. I actually built a memory cooler with a couple of 40mm fans I had laying around (though you can buy them pretty cheap also).

I'm wondering how well what you posted works in comparison to heatspeader+ fans over to keep that OCed memory cool.

I had the fans, and aluminum just sitting in the garage (I'm a sheet metal worker), and was looking for a way to cool down some Crucial Ballistix I was running @ 430MHz 4,4,4,12.
Interesting thing about the design is the fans actually connect (and hold together)the three pieces of aluminum that make up the entire thing.
Still interested in seeing some comparison of the ram cooler in the OP, and a set-up like mine.

Nice, and I'm betting effective. My last build was in the same Ultra Dragon case you have. Plenty of room in there, but 80mm fans :(

they work nicely in mine i'm keeping room temp inside the case and they are all low speed except the one directly below the PSU which is on a controller and set to low med speed
i am more annoyed by the purple plastic i mean WTF? purple who the hell chose purple?
