my friend at [H] has a huge stock of seagate 7200.10 750s that are enterprise HDs he's been selling off at $150 each shipped for months, much better deal for an ES drive at $10 more

Nice deal, but that WD is with the dumb green peace BS...it throttle's between 5.4k to 7.2k to save on energy :slap:. In result, you get shotty performance...

Guess it depends on what you are into, but these days anything less than 500 gig is passe' for most of us. I bet by next year all new systems will have 1T drives in them.
