Instead of burdening users with higher power requirements Asus has decide to make users plug it into the wall rather than into the power supply.

Maybe this will allow you too put 2 of these in the new SLI 32 chipset.

as i said in another post i love ati but i think Nvidia has us this generation.

This stuff is never released.

Good idea for seperate PSU for video card, but does show that modern PC's require a ridiculous amount of power.

There's always a winner and a loser in every generation.

GeForce 2/3/4 VS. Radeon 8xxx - nVidia owned
GeForce FX5xxx VS. Radeon 9xxx - ATi is the winna
GeForce 6xxx VS. Radeon X8xx - kinda equal (some maybe prefer GF6 because of SLI)
GeForce 7xxx VS. Radeon X1xxx - let's wait and see.personaly I think nVidia will win this round.

I wonder what the cooler for this thing will look like?!? Tripple slot maybe? And why would they be developing it if there was no intention to sell it? :confused:
