As Firefox busted the 90 million download mark (according to SpreadFirefox), it has been rated #5 on CNet's top ten products over the past ten years.
This is in part of the fact that Firefox has been the first web browser to post a serious threat to Internet Explorer since they monopolized the market in 1999. It is also because of this that Microsoft had to rethink the abandoning of making new standalone versions of IE.
Ahead of Firefox are the illegal version of Napster (4th), Google (3rd), TiVO (2nd), and the #1 on the list is the iPod!
