My system was down for a few days waiting for my new video card. I just got it up and running again, and now I'm having router issues. When my TP-Link router is connected, I can't access the internet, and I receive the "limited connection" error. If I unplug the router, and connect directly through the DSL modem, I'm able to connect just fine. I know this has to have something to do with my router settings, but I can't access my router settings, because I can't connect. It does appear that networking cannot see my ip address, if that helps. I have already reset the router and modem several times. What do I do guys? I'm stumped. Please help.

If you cant access the router then it isn't realy "reset". Try unplugging power connector holding reset button for 20 seconds, applying power clicking reset button 2-3 times, uplug again and hold the reset for another 20 seconds. Also before you power it up the final time do a power reset on the modem for 20 seconds also.(unplug wait 20sec plug in).

first off type into cmd the following:

>ipconfig /release
>ipconfig /flushdns
>ipconfig /renew
>ipconfig /registerdns

sometimes that fixes a LOT of dhcp problems, etc.

on your router.. try setting up static ip if the above doesn't work and make sure that everything is set to dhcp/get from isp for the router's ip address...

see if that helps! :toast:
