This is the best air cooler for CPU

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835109125.

It's only $60 so u can buy a 12cm fan to go with it with the left over moneys.

The Thermalrights are the biz, but be aware that they can only mount in 1 direction on socket 939.

Check out http://www.frostytech.com/ for some other options; but don't forget the wealth of reviews right here on TPU.:rockout:

check this out, proves that the ultra 120 is technically a little better then the ifx-14

why not go watercooling since you have the budget to.. a swiftech h20 120 compact will perform really well for you!

i've got a 120 ultra on my 5000 black edition. i'd personally invite you to witness is if you want but i'd put stake in the fact that my cooler with 1 panaflo and not 2 could decimate most water cooling setups. for instance, i idle around say 25 in an 18c room and load about 36c during orthos priority 10. i don't see many water cooling setups beating that and my case weighs less. albiet i am running a nake 5000 with that montser underneath, but i will say the ultra120x does give some watercooling a run for it's money.

57.99 is a good price for the upgraded ultra120 extreme i got mine from this site and paid about 68 with 4 day shipping or whatever.

well a couple of weeks ago i got this Tuniq T-120-LFB (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835154002), which i plan to use on my current rig [or i can do it otherwise]. But according to this (http://www.tomshardware.com/2008/02/26/cpu_cooler_charts_2008_part_2/page10.html) review thatZEROtherm Nirvana NV120's performance is close to the IFX-14's, which is good because theres a big price gap between them.
