I heard that you can Flash (How?:wtf:) the BIOS on the 8800GT to the SSC speeds.

I need some kind of tutorial.

Thanks.

its all summed up in the sticky "8500/8600/GT/GTS Mod guide..."

just replace any instance of 8600/8500 with 8800, and replace any specs with your own (ie rivatuner)

theres a whole bios modding subheading on the first page thats perfect for you.

What if I "flash" the SSC BIOS on a regular GT?

what youll want to do is make a dump of the bios on your card (using either Gpu-Z or atitool), and use NiBiTor to modify it to SSC speeds, your card does run at those speeds right? youll want to check that first. (rivatuner)

and yeah it works for any nvidia card really, 8600/8800 itll do the same thing.

They are at stock speeds.

I want to flash it so it will save me the trouble of overclocking.

what he means...is you need to make sure the clocks are stable b4 u flash. if uyou flash unstable clocks without testing them first in riva tuner you could end up with instand artifacts or a card that simply wont boot.
