I don't use Vista, but I notice a lot of ppl complaining that Vista will prompt you to turn UAc back on, like XP does if you don't install AV... Just curious if there's a way to make Vista stop bugging you about it.

nah it wont... although i have heard that too, its not true. If you turn it off, it pretty much F*#^s off forever, and u forget u ever had it to begin with.

Click on that balloon and hunt around there. It escapes me now but somewhere in there is an option to turn the notification off. You will still have that icon in the tray, but you won't get the balloon.

Go to the Security Center, and in the left hand pane, select "change the way Security Center notifies me"

To get rid of that go to control panel security centre and click change the way security centre alerts me and select the one you want from the menu.
