new ram what should i get

currently i'm running my amd rig at 3.35 240x14 giving me a mem speed of 960 at 4,4,4,12 2t. i want to upgrade but due to cpu speed limitations my next bracket of speed settings for the memory will be around 1120Mhz. i need a 2 gig kit of memory that is not so expensive between 60-100 that will almost guarentee me the ability to hit 1120Mhz. btw must be ddr2. thanx

Crucial Ballistix PC-6400 can hit 1100Mhz 2.2 without a hitch.

Most Ballistix 800 will do those speeds, but not all. There are a few less than stellar batches out there.

I say get the 1066MHz Ballistix kit. They are $90 at newegg, but have a $30 mail in rebate.

yeah actually the 8500 are only $59 MIR thats a really good price, get that kit
