Athlon vs Opteron

I'm upgrading to a dual core AMD and have narrowed it down to two specific models.
The Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4800+ OR Opteron 180 2.4GHz.

This is on a MSI K8N Neo 4F, socket 939. I want the best processor for the best price. Any thoughts on which would preform better for oc. Any suggestions?

A good overclocker, server bound CPU's tend to be very tough,..and a better memory controller.
