I have a dell, is it worth listing the system specs if so how do i find them. im pretty much a novice at all the internal workings of the computer...

Start > Run > type "dxdiag" it will tell you the Processor and Memory right away than click the Display tab to see what Video Card and do the same for Sound :)

OEM machines tend to have more information "locked" than self built computers.
I have found that SIW works much better than Everest, as the free version has items unavalable. Overall SIW is more complete and more in depth then Everest;

Everest worked very well on my dad's HP system, and that's an OEM like Dell, i guess try both and see what works better :)

That SIW program works alot like Everest, just SIW is way more involved than Everest is.
