ashen didn't ask me to post this, but i think it doesn't harm anyone, so here it is:
An Open Letter to TechPowerUp from Ashen.
First I would like to apologize for all the animosity that has formed between
AshenTech/myself and TPU, I still like TPU, and we have a standing rule here that if any member
where to go over to TPU and make an ass of themselves by spamming or other means that they
would get banned here as well, This is because we want RESPECT to flow BOTH WAYS.
I admit I have made a bit of an ass of my self a few times on TPU, and that I have gone
back and made new accounts, I should have just had a talk with W1zzard and tried to get
unbanned or call a truce or something, There is really only one person at TPU who I feel is out of
line much of the time, mostly because as a mod he trolls and instigates fights then uses his mod
powers to make it seem justified, and when others act the same way, he gets on their ass for it
and even has them banned, such as the case of Solaris, one of the few truly good mods TPU has
had, somebody baited him and harassed him till he snapped then, the same jackass had him
banned, and when he was allowed back, he was demoted.....
I wish to make it clear, I have NO hard feelings for TPU, Infact I still send people there
for info on a regular basis, because its till better then sending them someplace like neowin where
you can be harassed by many mods for not agreeing with their opinions/beliefs.
I know some of the TPU community HATE me, for various reasons, such as DanTheBanjoMan,
who hates me because I called him on his trolling, or those who hate me because I strongly
disagree with them and don't hold back when telling them they are wrong or being a fanboi,
ether way, I accept that though I made allot of friends, I also made some enimys, but thats true in
all of life unless you live your life as an ass-kiss and even then, your probably gonna piss somebody
off.
Please we at AshenTech would all like this sudo war to end, and a time of peace and sharing to
begin, I know this will likely fall on deaf ears as I have been told by some people already that
some of the staff hare very "hard" and hold some real "hate" for me, If this is true, and I am sure it
is, Well it saddens me, but I also know there is NOTHING I can do about it, people will feel how
they will feal and do what they do, I just want to make it crystal clear that if anybody from AT
ever goes over to TPU and causes trouble all that will have to happen is one of my mods(many of
who are well known TPU members) be pm'ed and the person will be delt with post haste.
Well thats all I had to say, Im sure that this will fall on some deaf ears, but I am also equity sure it
will find some willing listeners who understand that tho I may have made some mistakes and
made an ass of myself, that Im not a bad guy, and AshenTech isn't and evil or hateful place.
