I want to set TPU to my homepage but I don't like how cluttered it is. I don't know if its just me, but I prefer something simple, much like Google.

As I said, I don't know if its just me...but i'd like to see a smaller, less cluttered page for TPU that I can use as my homepage. (Although the main page is fine as it is, I would just like to have an "additional page").

If it is just me that wants this....totally ignore this thread :rolleyes:

Why don't you just use iGoogle. Then you have google AND you can use the TPU RSS feed on your frontpage, so you'll still be able to view all the latest news from TPU...

What's the point of TPU as homepage when you don't want the contents? Besides, it's one of the least cluttered pages you'll find.

I have it as my homepage... I would find it a pain to go through a splash screen tbh

tpu is my home page and its fine for me.....i mean if you have a slow connection i can see why it would hurt but cant firefox and IE allow you to use multiple home pages? why dont you make google your number 1 and topu load in tab 2 if connectivity is your issue that is.

Maybe "cluttered" was the wrong word :p.

Its well spaced out and all, but there is just too much on there (for a homepage...great as a newspage :)).

And what do you mean by not having the contents Dan :confused: It would have all the links to every part of TPU as the current homepage does :p. Just without all the news/reviews.

My connection isn't a problem though, the whole page loads in about 3-4 seconds.





Anywho, seeing as I was like the only one :p...don't worry about it :rolleyes:

how about an option to limit the number of news posts on the front page for registered users?

or if you could detail how exactly the "home" page should look like in your opinion?
