I've heard about getting clocks up to 3.4GHZ stock cooling. Im running a Rosewill 115mm fan. I'm in Iraq currently, and will check my temps tonight at 3.0GHZ. Im only running 3.01 GHZ ATM, and it seems cool and is very stable, I did 3.3GHZ, and could probably go higher, but cant because I need to wait for my power supply to get in. I believe I can get to 3.6-3.8GHZ with my cooling, what have some of you achieved, and what cooling? Ive got a very large case with several fans, so the case itself is cool also.

That do your ambient temps run day and night in Iraq?

much over 3.6 and the volts have to go up big time.. i did set one up with stock cooling to run at 3.6 gig in a micro atx case and it runs nicely.. mine maxed out about 3.9 gig.. but i wouldnt try it on stock cooling.. 3.6 seems okay for em 24/7.. a bit on the hot side but okay unless u are obsessive about temps.. ..

the stock cooler that comes with the 6750 is one of the better copper cored intel ones..

My cooler isnt stock, im running 1.31V. I'm wanting to reach 4.0GHZ in the end, and the heat isnt too big of a problem here, we have AC in our hooches, not to mention the desert is cold at night, and thats when I game. Dust is a problem, but not too big of one. Im running a 420Watt PSU but will be upgrading in the future. Currently my profile shows me running 70x2, but im not as of right now, im waiting for the 9800s to come out, playing the waiting game running with my 7900GS.

mine needed 1.5 vcore to run a stable 3.6 gig.. i bought an E8400 to run 4 gig 24/7..

4 gig is too high for the 6750 but play away and try.. :)

I dont know I was able to get to 3.8 with mine at only 1.39v, but the ram made it unstable. Its much cooler in my enviornment though, and every chip is different. I am pretty sure once I get some better ram, I should be able to go above 4ghz, so just play around and watch your temps. Good luck in Iraq also.

the problem is the 500 fsb needed.. i could get mine nearly there but not quite and the voltage required for anything vaguely resembling 24/7 stable just was not worth the effort..
