OK, i'm selling a brand new (still in anti static plastic) Gigabyte GA-M59SLI-S5 board, this is the same board as in my specs. I bought 2 of these boards back in May, one for myself, one for my my cousin, i built my system around it, but he decided to go with Intel :( so i was stuck with it. Therefore I decided to keep it for myself as a backup but now i want to sell it. This was a very popular mobo before it was discontinued by Gigabyte for no apparent reason, there is nothing wrong with it so don't worry. I had it for almost 10 months now and it gave me no trouble and was very stable the whole time.

Ok, here's some pics of the board and components:

Package Contents:

The board itself, manual, driver disk, Rear I/O Panel Shield, IDE/PATA Cable, FDD Cable, 4 x SATA Cable, eSATA Cable, 4-pin to SATA Power Cable, SLI Bridge, SLI Retention Bracket,
SATA Extension Module.

Asking $115 shipped, i paid $170 + shipping for it back in May, this sale is for US folks, if you want it shipped to Canada please PM and i'll see what i can do. Since the board is new, i haven't tested it obviously, so if you receive it and it doesn't work i will refund your money. Or the buyer can try to contact Gigabyte for replacement/refund, whatever you want to do. If the buyer needs help with the mobo, i will do all i can to provide technical assistance. If you want to find out more about it, just google the model number and/or go to the newegg link to read customer reviews. Finally, tell me if the asking price is fair or not.

Thnx for the bump :) I tried to keep the price as low and as fair possible, i'm actually amazed that comparable nforce 590 boards haven't dropped in price one bit. :(

Actually that price is a steal. If I Wasnt dead set on ordering my MSI board tomorrow (790 FX) I would scoop this up. I cant believe the loss you are taking being its brand new. But its an awesome price. Bump!

Hey KBD, You have any AM2 procs to go with it? Interested in any trades?

@ WarEagle.Thnx WarEagle. The reason why i'm selling it for this cheap is because nforce590 is kinda getting outdated after the intro of 770/780/790 chipsets from AMD, and i hear that new nvidia chipsets are on the way as well, so i think that a price drop would be fair. like i said earlier i'm surprised that retailers are not dropping the prices on their AM2 boards, Asus M2N32-SLI is stll selling for $185, which is exactly the same or a bit more when i was shopping for a mobo 10 months ago. So yea, i'm taking a loss but i just don't beleive its worth more than that and i was hoping to sell it quick but so far you and Ehstii are the only ones who are even remotely interested.

I don't have any AM2 proc, other than what i'm using. Can you tell me what you have to trade? I'm willing to consider it.

Well, I am mainly looking for SLi features, I would be willing to part with the e1200/AW9D-Max str8 even for the board+ something around a 3800+ X2. I have all accessories for it, and an SLi bridge for the nVidia 6/7 series for SLi.

EDIT: In basics, trade you crossfire for SLi?

Yep, i understand that part, but i have no ATI cards, in fact i just bought a BFG 8800GTS 512, plus i really have no need for a proc/mobo right now, is there anything else you have to trade? I would especially be intersted in LEDs, a cold cathode kit, spiral wrap for wire management, stuff like that.

Hmmmm, come to think of it, I don't have any case modding stuff. Oh well, some free bumps for yah bud! ;)

Wait where? If your referring to my BST, I can't really buy one. If I want to go SLi i have to trade for it. :ohwell:

Well sorry to go offtopic on everyone. Good night!

yea, i know, it just so happens that all the folks that are interested can't afford it. I may have to lower the price, may be that will help.

The price isnt bad. Just gotta save up some money for it. You are welcome btw, that board is a gem. I noticed CompUSA and alot of etailers were still selling that Asus board for alot of money, more than its worth.

Yea, i really love this board, it really has some cool features, it does not overclock as well as comparable Asus but it's solid as rock and runs nice and cool, not to mention the last of it's kind as gigabyte discontinued it a while back. I'm probably gonna keep it for sale for another day or so, if no one buys it then, i'm gonna let this thread go and stop bumping it up and make room for the other sellers. If anyone wants to do as WarEagle suggested and save up for it, just PM me and i'll hold it for you, otherwise i'm gonna have to sell it locally.
