how to make audio higher volume and what program can make it higher volume?

I record a video but the the sound is too low... I want to make it higher

Try Sony Soundforge (I hate to say it, but you might need to buy it in order to get the plugins for video's etc. to work), it has all that you need.

well it is an audio from a video.... I fraps but while I was doing it... I forgot to higher my computer volume so it is too low.

Mediacoder will do that. You probably need to compress the fraps video a little anyway.

oh yeah forgot to tell that I already try media coder. I choose lame mp3 and put the db up but when it is done... the sound from certain area just mute... I dont know what happend.
