Is this the DS5 or DS6? Might want to specify for potential buyers.

More then likely its the ds5 version, even newegg has a hard time grabbing the ds6 versions and really, not too much of a difference to me.

Actually there is no such thing as the DS6, its called DQ6. It has a lot more features than the DS5 namely quad BIOS, quad xfire, quad double phase and quad cooling but costs about $40 more.

Hmm, this Ds5 should do quad crossfire, it has 4 pci-e 16x slots. Not sure what quad bios and such is, but I dont think it would warrant $40 more :roll:

What kind of trades are you willing to accept Athlon? Im definitely interested in that board. Practal at [H] has one for sell for $160.00 shipped and its NIB but hes waiting to hear from someone before letting me know.

Actually, no, this DS5 has only 2 PCI-e, here look at the specs:

As for Quad BIOS, it's actually a cool thing, i think this DS5 has a dual BIOS, so does my AM2 board. Basically, if your main BIOS gets corrupted, the back up will take over, so the DQ6 has 3 backup BIOSes.This is a neat little feature thats added to high end Gigabyte boards.

Oh wow, that is bad ass, I didnt know that. And you are right, I thought it had 4 (not that Id need that many.) Still interested in knowing what youd like to trade for them :)
