I've never reset my system BIOS so far. Would resetting/flashing system BIOS reset the RAID BIOS (of the ICH9R AHCI controller) along with it? I understand that if the RAID BIOS is reset, my array goes kaput. Help me understand.

I havent flashed with my RAID, but have reset (clear CMOS) and it does not kill my RAID (ICH8R). Just go back into the BIOS and set it back to configure SATA as RAID and reboot and should be fine.

I'm planning to flash the system BIOS to the F11 version. Does the BIOS file contain only the system BIOS or RAID BIOS along with it? Are they linked / stored on the same EEPROM?

Not really sure on this, but I think it would be foolish of them to include the RAID BIOS in a system BIOS flash. Someone else will have to confirm.
