Hi, i just installed Vista sp1 x32 ultimate and yesterday played UT3 and it played great without hitches.
Today i came to play and i experienced lot of hitches, all the game was with hitches and it happens in other games as well, i see lot of HDD activity.
I disabled lot of services including Indexing, what can cause the problem?

if its right after you boot, then its superfetch "the-Uber-prefetcher" frantically rearranging your hard drive so that your "programs" load faster.
This kiIIIiiIIIiillls if you want to game within 10 minutes of turning on your machine... turn off superfetch.
Edit: have you installed any new drivers/updates since then? you just turned it on today and it was slow?

I also though it is the Superfetch, i installed latest ATI drivers for mine X1950PRO as well as chipset driver.
How much time it takes for superfetch to arrange it?

I think the time that Superfetch takes depends on the system and how you use it... I just ended up turning it off, as it got really annoying - it gave me no performance boost and ended up only molesting my hard drive.
The easiest thing to do would be to try disabling that to see if it fixed the problem, you can always turn it back on. If that does not work, then maybe try to go back to the older drivers?
Also, what do you mean by hitches? It slows down? or there are errors? If there are errors, and the game crashes/looks funny, then its definitely the new drivers - if its just slow at bootup then it's most likely an untweaked version of vista in full suckage.

UT3 works with great FPS 55 most of time, however there is freezes every 1 second like a lag on high ping, you understand?
I try now to disable the superfetch restart and hope, this is weird because yesterday upon a fresh install UT3 worked PERFECT.

Remove SP1? Wait for its offical public release?
When I attempted to install SP1, it simply killed my RAM, but that could have also been since I was giving it 2.5 Volts but it died during its installation.:D

it's no sp1 issue, i had that issue with previous driver and on RTM version of vista.
