rediculous.......ok...so my computer life has been going badly as of late to say the very least.

first thing to go wrong awhile ago....i got my 4gb kit and i realise my emem controller wore out and my proc wont hit 3ghz anymore......

then the cats knock over the bamboo i keep next to my rig(adds a pretty feel to the setup) the leds get real faint or fail in some places on my eclipse...i unplug and rebuild and let dry out....it works.....

my crt monitor starts to get all funky really bright then to realy really dark.....turns out my adapter had oxidation and wasnt making a good connection.....so i got a new lcd monitor

then my copperhead starts blacking out randomely shutting off....good thing i have my soldering iron ill fix that eventually.

than my 8600 dies...stupid me w/e though got a 9600GT early infact go me!!!

now my eclipse is acting up again!!! the lights go out except the numlock. and all of a sudden my browser goes back like 50times forward like 3 than reloads every second and then firefox closes.....so im on some gay hp propriatary KB thats fells.....ewwwwwwwwwwwww not my eclipse...but it sits next to me. ill rebuild it tomarrow and try to fix it :(.......

The keys went out on my G15. I was scared to death. I opened it up and a wire was loose, and shorting another, so I re soldered in about 5 min.

If you can't fix it, I'm selling an Eclipse...

Sorry to hear about all your troubles. My grandma says that bad things happen in sets of three...so by my counting, you're good to go for a little while without anything else happening :P

that and the reason i got a 5:1 sytem for x-mas was because my 2:1 started to die......sigh....that and i have a belkin wireless adapter now...because my action tec used to get really hot than one day it just didnt work.....and the reason i got my copperhead was because my 800dpi sunbeam just stopped booting up........so thats another 3 that happened all in a 5 month period....i guess i am good for awhile hopefully nothing else fails thnx guys just figured id let you know whats up :(

Maybe you're computer is asking you to leave it alone, lmao. I know that when I used to always mess around with my old Pcs they'd go bonkers right, left and center. But since I'm a poo' man now I cherish my comp because I litterally cannot afford to fix it.

Must be somthing in the air cos my brothers mobo died the other day so i replaced it with a new one and now its all working fine.
But i got up this morning turned my pc on and nothing just a slight fan twitch? Anyway after a full strip down and various tests to the psu etc i came to the conclusion the mobo is dead gave me no warnng nothing last i used it everything was 100%.Im a bit gutted but i was planning on replacing it with a 16x 16x x38 mobo anyway.
I just didnt think it would be this soon. Im now looking to order a ASUS P5E x38 or maybe a dfi board if i find a nice one.

If the memory controller is going out, then you'll have some dead ram soon.

Well Solaris, you gotta look at it this way...you've had a lot of good luck and great achievements, it's time to even things out and shit happens. I totally understand what you're going through, with multiple things failing/dying/malfunctioning. Usually that's always the case for me, when something fails...I'm guarenteed another bad situation almost immediately.

I do hope you get the KB working again, I have no doubt that you will, and if not...you will move onto something better (i.e. 8600 -> 9600).
