Odd Sound Problem

Hi all, well bascialy i have a very odd sound issue, i have just built a new computer, so everything is new, and ofc i had to do all the drivers ect again.

Bascialy windows start up, youtube, games dont have sound!

However, when doing a sound test in Realtek HD audio Manager the sound on the speakers is fine, and works.

Though when i do a speaker sound test through my Creative sound card, the sound doesn't work.

I have all the latest drivers, for my sound card & mobo, and i get this problem.

Any help would be great!

EDIT: Gah, i fixed this issue by going into control panel and changing my sound from onboard to the speakers, i am a idiot!! and i'm sorry to waste anyones time, i cant find how to delete the thread, sorry!

Don't be too hard on yourself. We all have brain farts once in awhile.

Thank you for posting how you fixed it. Someone else may run into the same issue and this post may save them a lot of grief, even if it was a simple fix.

Now turn up those speakers and enjoy.
