My old friend won 2GB of PC8500 DDRIII and he needs a cheap motherboard for a LGA775 processor one PCI-Express (like no SLI needed) and 2 pci slots for a usb controller or sth like that and a X-FI audio card. Please help me (well him)!!!

Supports both DDR3/DDR2 but dont expect to see OCing results! just a good basic board.

also both boards only support 2 DDR 3 modules so he cant upgrade to add more later on.

None of them are really cheap and all of them are hybrids but currently atleast from my newegg search these are probably the cheapest DDR3 P35 board u can find.. the only other chipset i know that supports DDR3 is X38 which is 200+ or the 790i which is 300+

don't go for a cheapo mobo, 100 dollars as a mimimum (before rebates or special offers)
