stuff I should know about IT industry

So I just got a 3 month Internship with an IT company here in town.

Is there anything I should know, or be prepared for in the IT industry? Mind you i will be doing really basic "geek squad" :roll: stuff during this period

Not really.
Working in IT is like any other job.
Keep up on top of the latest hardware/software and do the best you can.

Oh .. and don't pass up vacation. Working through your vacation time does not make you look better. It just makes you look stupid.
You work to live, you don't live to work.
