Would it be worth editing my 3850's BIOS?

I keep it at the speeds in my specs but I use RivaTuner to set it like that at start up and it crashes like 10% of the time. Would it be worth just editing the bios so it reads it at the speeds all the time? And what would be the best program to do that with? Thanks :)

I edited my BIOS using RBE (radeon bios editor - check TPU download section) and that worked great.

ATiTool increased my boot up time quite remarkably, so editing the BIOS was much better.
