Ok I found an old 80mm fan for a cpu and thought i would reuse it on my case but I had no spaces left to mount it so I mounted it ontop of an existing fan thinking that 2 fans are better than one but there is one question is it better to have it set up like that or with both counter rotating. I was thinking about using it to cool my 8800 but I have no where to stick it on :ohwell:

Unless both fans are running perfectly in sync (which is pretty much impossible), you are just restricting airflow.

crap it makes sense because it will make the wind turbulent but it was a pretty cool idea at the time:laugh: I should get some 2 sided tape and stick it on my gpu

Not all to sure about that as there's this one.

And if i remember right one fan runs slightly slower than the other.
All so be careful if you have fans at the top of the case that there not to powerfull as it MIGHT stop the PSU getting enough air as i had the issue with mine. all though this was with a PSU having the 120mm fan placement not like the one i have my self now.
But a fan at the top of the case is a good idea.

That fan is specifically designed for two motors.

hehe, but thats not my point. My point is that you can add 2 fans together to boost airflow if done correctly.
