I'm a little stumped here when using Riva tune you can only o/c the first gpu and not the second one... CCC overdrive lets you o/c the 2nd part of the card but is there any way or is there any other program to use that gives the option to o/c the 2nd gpu on the 3870x2 card?
Why I'm asking is because in the CCC i can slide the memory all the way to the right but i know the memory can run higher as I've tested it using ati tool and Riva tune and my FPS climbs way up when running the 3d view.. if i could only get at the second part of the card I'd be laughing and my benches would be way higher..
Any body have any ideas?
Thanks

flashing the bios to higher default speeds extends the CCC range.. it does with a single card i assume the same will happen with the x 2..

i found a program to o/c both cores on the 3870x2...
http://rapidshare.com/files/100990709/AMDGPUClockTool.zip.html
works well.

also note that you must minimize the program and after you set both core clocks it will say o/c failed... no worries though just check your Riva tuner graphs and you'll see the core and memory are where you set it... Just be sure to crank up your fan speed to handle the extra heat... I'm off to try gears of war and i hope the low level stutter will be gone..
I hope amd fixes the low level problem with it's new driver... have seen that allot of amd fans are pissed over the problem of the gpu lowering the core and memory in certain parts of game play...
let me know how this program works for those that have tried it..
one other not... for those that never used rapid share and don't wanna pay to download take note of the timer... once it hits zero you'll be able to download

i gave up trying to kill the bloody brumac.. he he.. i did play the game with just one card running.. its a game on my list that dosnt like crossfire as yet.. with two cards u can at least disable C/F when u want to.. with the X 2 i assume u cant..
world in conflict dosnt like it either.. at least not in XP..

ah he's an easy kill lol... only died once killing the bastard... as for the crossfire i didn't have any problems with my old 3870 twins from ATI.. this x2 doesn't have any problems until you enable DX10 and the fps drop to 40ish... the duel 3870's ran better in dx10 mode then this x2 card.. i believe it's just driver issues with the x2 card but time will tell. I also found a bios patch that is suppose to fix low level stutter from VisionTec... But I'm a little on the chicken side to press go.. i know it's for an 3870 but not sure if it's going work or bugger up my x2?
It was a zipped file and after unpacking it there wasn't any guessing on what to do... very easy but like i said not sure if it works for me.. here is a link from amd site that might work

i take out his arm guns.. shoot him in the leg to make him stumble but by the time he does i am out of ammo.. i never have enough to kill the bloody driver he recovers too quick..

yes shot his arm's and when he says go for the legs then go for the legs lol... then when he drops shoot at his head..there's a locust up there that you must kill... always keep running in a huge circle and there will be lots of ammo boxes and you'll also find a cog tag.. good luck
