TF2 goes to toolbar?

I was playing a match in TF2 and the game all of a sudden just minimizes to the toolbar. I clicked on it and it came back up fine, but i would like to know what is that all about.

That happened to me a few times. It ends up being caused by a background app which has an overlay, for instance...ant-virus programs, or firewalls...etc.

This happens to me when I lose interweb and it then comes back fast. Focus goes to the "Internet Connected" icon vs TF2.

I get this when Avast updates. Pisses me off when I'm in the middle of a pass or tackle in Madden 08.

I had that happen to me at a LAN when I hosted a match. Every time I'd launch it, it'd minimize and I'd have to wait about 30 seconds to get it back up. I didn't have any background apps or firewalls up, so I don't know what was causing it for me.

It also happens during gears of war (at some instances), when some background application connects to the net (usually trying to update). Some times is the game itself that tries to connect...
