Question about laptops

My mom accidently hit a buy it now button on ebay and bought an old dell latitude c610 laptop. its ok for browsing and what not, but she gave it to me, so i want to know if i can do anything with it. like, would it be possible to buy a P4 laptop with a broken screen and throw it in this laptop chassey? any help or advice would be much appreciated.

the P4 mobo should be slightly thinner so it might work to do a swap.

From what I've seen the whole latitude series seems to be pretty uniform in size and shape, so maybe if you found a 640 with a busted screen it would work. The only thing I would be worried about is that the I/O connections might not line up the same.

another question; are HDD in laptops interchangeable?

Well, they sell 2.5" boxed laptop hdds so I would image you could. I've never done it before though.
