The feature is still alive and no one is using it...if W1z named it the SHOUTBOX would you use it more?

i think you are not being wise by putting down someone that has ideas and wants to contribute to and improve tpu. who gives about "age", hes got ideas, contribution and dedication (~40 ppd.. wow).

i think the main problem with the chat is that its not really integrated into the forums, if it was integrated into the forums as shoutbox, like the chat at the bottom of the page as an optional frame or something that'd certianly make the chat much better etc.

Shoutbox goes on top of the Latest Posts and Headlines, I highly doubt it would be a failure unless you deliberately made it a external link like Chat. I would like to see it :)

Theres no way sound is a good idea.
