Its going here because it is not software or internet, it hink the lan chipset on this mobo is messed up is that possible?

I happens at both of my houses, also just reinstalled vista so thats not it.

Ok well it just crapped out again, the problem is whenever i go to any webpage theres a 70% chance that it wont load and i have to click retry like 4 times before it works(im waiting too) this happens with IE also

What error message are you getting when you try to connect?

Does the lan light up when you connect the wire?

im sure it does, or he wouldnt be on right now. Try getting a card from wal-mart, its like 30-40 bucks, and if it doesnt work, return it, if it does work, keep it. pretty simple stuff. If its not that, then you got me.
