What sprial wire fits my hose?

I purchased a swiftech 220 ultra kit and ordered some primochill 1/2 tubing. What spiral wiring hose cover would fit this specific hose? Reason I ask is because the plastic spiral wrap that came with the system wouldnt even fit around the hose that was supplied with the system, so that didnt make sense.

Have you tried wrapping the spiral around the tubing instead of sliding it over the top of the tubing?

Is that what your suppose to do? My first time working with spiral wrap :o. Also im looking for the metal stuff, would this fit the hose(see link)

I say give it a try....reminds me of the spiral wrap for wiring and that was wrapped around the existing wires....Give it a try on a piece you can easily access. I've personally never used it...maybe shoot a PM to Abs (http://forums.techpowerup.com/member.php?u=47522) , he has it wrapping his tubes in his avitar.

I thought you was supposed to wrap it around yourself to get the best fit. It just makes sense because if it was loose enough for you to slide it in the wire then it would be loose enough to kink.
