Konami said Thursday that the MGS4 Limited Edition would cost $84.99 and only be available at game retail giant GameStop. The special edition will include the game, collectible packaging, artwork by Kojima Productions illustrator Yoji Shinkawa and an additional Blu-ray disc featuring "making of" documentaries.
MGS4 arrives in North America on June 12 for PlayStation 3.
Both the limited edition and the standard $59.99 edition will include the Metal Gear Online Starter Pack, the "full and complete multiplayer component of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots."
Participating retailers will be offering an MGS4 preorder program, which will give preordering customers a copy of the Metal Gear Saga Vol. 2 DVD, and a voucher code for the Metal Gear Online beta.
The beta download will be available from April 17 to May 5, and will be playable from April 21 to May 5.
