asian gaming has turned to mmo's as opposed to more classic rpg elements. just another way of maximizing profits! ff7 and ff8 are pretty dated games, i figger with your specs a nice lookin game like Jade Empire would be satisfying.

lol yes hehe :) asian rpg never seem to leave the consoles :( but yet we get there crappy f2p mmo... on pc

Jade Empire is a great game xD, It's based on kungfu/martial arts, and has (for me) a good story line, plus it's like KoTOR where you chose to be a good or bad hero xD

also a sort fo cool Japanese game (not really an RPG its just a hack and slash on PC) is Chaos Legion by Capcom (i picked up a copy for like $10 a couple of years ago from k-mart)

Well, i am waiting for Fable 2...it isn't asian but it is fun. Never really played Jade Empire, but I heard it was good.

Btw, 1 more thing on Jade Empire, If you finish it you get to start over with your current items and its on master mode if I remember correctly which makes the difficulty slightly harder heh... Btw Chaos Legion was also cool, sort of like a time trial challenge hack and slash game I think... Neway gonna try BoF on PC.. If I could find one... Sigh only have the copy for the PS1 but it's in japanese lmao...

jade empire was a fantastic game loved every minuet of it, also fable isn't Asian but it was a really great game

Jade Empire is set in asia but its not an asian RPG :p I have FF7 for PC as well!

Yea Neverwinter isnt asian but it sure is the best RPG ever.

Asian RPG's differ from western. Westerns are like Neverwinter or Knights of the Old Republic and Asians are turn based and stuff.
