Hi

Ok, so I gave my old graphics card (ATI 9800SE) to a friend who is building a system out of old parts. So he would like to know which one of the catalyst/ati drivers are best suited for this piece of sh.. old card.

Which one should he use?

Thankful for any replies given.

i got my old X600 running and i used 8.2 and its fine

Try the newest. If that doesn't work well, I've been running my 9800SE with 7.6's for quite some time now with now problem at all.

He tried. I noticed an FPS drop using the latest drivers (i played CS:S earlier w. same card).
Thanks, I'll d/l the 7.6 for him and let him try that instead.
