whats the mobo ? if it can run 45nm Q's it should

It can run 45nm CPU. But I am not sure whether it could run Xeon LG775 or not.

What about 45nm Q's ? Look at my specs. Im on a P965 it can run Q9450 which is the same as the X3350 but its a Xeon, which theres no Xeon's on the support list

Also which mobo you looking at or have ?

G33 is able to run Q9450. P965 can run Q9450 but cannot run Xeon. :S Xeon need P35 but I am not sure whether G33 is P35 with IGP.

Im running a X3350 on my Asus P5B Dlx. P965 :)

so if that G33 works with a Q9450 it should work with the X3350 ;)

Check w/ your mb supplier first. Go to the oem's website and find your board and there will be a cpu support list. You will likely at the very least need a bios update.

It say support Core 2 Quad Q9450. Officially Xeon is not supported on desktop MB.

Its officially supported on some. Just make sure you have the correct bios, I dunno though, if its not listed w/ cpu support it may not work, even though its essientially the same chip. You can always rma if thats the case though.
