anyone have a clue what this is? doesnt stay up the entire time. I use 8.3 drivers

does it always happen at the same spots or is it just completely random, also what are your temps like?

happens in vanguard as well, but this one may be due to the vanguard non-perfect programming. Vanguard temps stay below 50 C though. I didnt test my CoD temps, but I doubt that was the problem.

looks like artifacts to me. do you have your card overclocked? how far? using what tool??

card isnt overclocked. I use rivatuner to adjust fan settings, currently at 90%

i would say try reinstalling the drivers or maybe use earlier drivers and see if thats the problem

alright, I got a new problem. I get an error messge trying to install my current drivers..lets see if any of youg uys have a clue what its about. I am running a fresh install of XP so I dont think there are any driver conflicts...

Exception occurred while trying to run C:\Windows\system32\Atiiiexx.dll, -infEngUnInstallNFFile_runDLL@16 -force_restart -flags 0x2010001 -inf_class:Display -clean

edit: i'll probably find it in some other forum if no one knows it off hand.

edit: even the ATI catalyst uninstaller doesnt work..hmm same error

problem solved. If anyone else has this problem, just make sure Rivatuner low level system tweaks are turned off. will allow for an uninstall.
