Hello,

where can I get the current BIOS for
GeCube HD3870 512MB DDR4 (no OC-Version).

I heard from a Version:
010.079.000.000.000000

but get only 10.071 in techpowerup

Can I flash the OC-Version Bios to normal Card too?
Can I tweak 810MHz back to 800 in OC-Bios?

You can indeed flash the OC version.

I just made this for you from the HIS .79 bios, stock 3870 clocks @ 780(777)/1130 and 3D @ 810/1190(1188).

Hello,

thank you very much.

Can I use this BIOS with no problems?

I scan my old bios file and see that
Vendor is:
0x1002 - ATI (also used by several other vendors as Jetway, Palit, PowerColor and others)

And your is: 0x18BC - GeCube.

In the FAQ I read it is dangerous. Is that true?

Ah, you said you wanted to flash a GeCube card? I can edit to to just be an ATi card if you want? If not you'll have to flash it in DOS with ATiFlash.

Hello,

I have a GeCube Card but the vendor is in the original bios firmware ATI.

What original BIOS do you use for this? You wrote HIS, does HIS Bios worked?

It's the HIS bios edited to GeCube as the SubVendor ID. If ATiWinFlash fails to flash it (please don't force it because it'll probable crash and kill the card) the you can force it with ATiFlash in DOS and it will be fine.
