Topic might be missleading, but I really have no clue on how to explain this. Anyway!
Hey everyone. I tried googling my problem, and thought this might be the right place to ask.
I have a Gainward GeForce 8800GTS. But now it seems like my videocard has snapped.
The thing is that my colors are ALL messed up. Its like all greenish or something. This happened some weeks ago, so what I did was just pull out the cable and plugged it in the other videocard output. That worked.
But now colors are all messed up on this one too. And the other output isnt even responding. Zero picture. I have tried updating drivers, formatting disk, putting the videocard in another computer (which didnt work any better) and besides I think my warrent is out of date (1 year if im not mistaken). The funny thing is that when I took a screenshot this picture showed as there was nothing wrong when viewing it on another computer. Almost like it was my monitor causing the problem. But its not.
Is there any way of saving my videocard? Would updating my firmware might solve this problem? Only thing is that I have really no idea on how to do that, so I would almost need a guide or someone to direct me in the right way.
I appreciate any help.
