Hey everbody!

I have a 9600 GT from MSI, with a custom fan but it has the reference PCB. But it's a tad loud! I'm going to replace it with something else.

The Zalman VNF100, looks nice, but the 9600 GT isn't listed in the card that fit. But I don't know if it's because the list isn't updated or because it doesn't fit. Any info on that? I think the 9600GT has the same mounting pattern as the 8800GT or the 7900 series.
How loud are the Zalman VF1000 and the VF900-Cu when connected @ 12v?
And would the Accelero X1 fit?

I know that the Accelero S1 or S2 are great, but I can't buy those where I live.

If you've got space, I can highly reccomend the Thermalright HR-03 GT.

You can either run it passive if you've got really good airflow in your case (gets about same temp as stock cooler, but with no noise), or buy a 92mm fan for it, and no other cooler will beat it ;)

I have the vf900 on my 8800gs and if it is at 100% fan speed it is definitely noticeable I have it running at about 1600rpms from the full 2400 i think? It's relatively quiet at this speed, temps also stay down my card tops out at around 47 and idles around 34. I'd recommend it.

I have a V.2 that thermalright indictes fits the 9600gt. I haven't had a chance to pick up some new ramsinks though so I can't tell you about performance with this card. Ramsinks soon...:) Worked really well on my 8600gt
